The well known beach of FALASARNA is 59 km west of the city of Chania and 17km west of Kissamos. It is in the western part of the Cape of Gramvousas.
The famous beach of Falassarna is one of the most famous beaches in Greece and it has been awarded as one of the 10 best in Europe. It spans a very large sandy area and the main big beach is fully organized with umbrellas and canteens from which you can buy the essentials.

The sand is white and gives the water a clear aqua-blue color and as you travel down the windy road to get down to the beach by car it gives you the impression of an exotic bay.

The area around Falasarna is classified as a Natura protected area. If you are a romantic soul, you have to wait for the sunset, which is considered among the best in Crete due to its magical landscape and the endless horizon.

Agia Marina Chania

The village of Agia Marina is to be found 9 km west of the city of Chania . It is one of the most popular tourist resorts in Crete attracting both Greek and foreign tourists during the summer holidays. The village was named after the church of Agia Marina.

The beach is sandy with crystal clear waters and towards the town of Platania you will come across many small bays where you can safely enjoy your swim if you have small children.

Opposite the beach of Agia Marina is the island of St. Theodore which is a protected natural which is why people are denied access to the island.

It is in this idyllic atmosphere at Mitsos restaurant that friends from Norway chose to celebrate the sacrament of marriage. The setting was extremely romantic with the island of St. Theodore in the background, the restaurant was simply and elegantly decorated which left great impressions while the music was the sound of the waves.

Our friends gave their guests a unique experience and accompanying the delicious dishes at the recommendation of Mitsos restaurant was also great music, colourful cocktails and endless fun!
